HDX BD-1 è un mediaplayer FullHD (1080p) in grado di riprodurre immagini Blu-ray mantenendo l'intera struttura di navigazione (menu, lingue, sottotitoli, ecc...). E' dotato di interfaccia gigabit-lan. E' in grado di riprodurre tutti i principali formati audio e Video HD (MKV, WMV, FLAC, ecc...) nonchè immagini e sottotitoli.
Funzioni di rete avanzate sia per la rete locale che internet, integra un client BitTorrent per scaricare file senza l'ausilio di un computer. Telecomando in dotazione con tasti retroilluminati a LED. Sezione hardware potentissima, CPU Sigma Designs SMP8642 a 667MHz con coprocessore a virgola mobile.
